How it works
Build, backtest, and track your own index, end to end
Pick the stocks or crypto that express your thesis and set the weights, backtest the index against real market history, then track it daily against the S&P 500, the Nasdaq 100, or BTC. Here is exactly what happens at every step. Analysis only, and Indexes never places a trade.
In one paragraph
Indexes works by letting you pick the holdings you believe in, stocks, crypto tokens, or both, and set a weight for each, then rolling the whole basket into one named index. It backtests that weighting against real historical market data, showing hypothetical historical performance next to a benchmark like the S&P 500, the Nasdaq 100, or BTC so you can see how the rules would have behaved. Once you are satisfied, you track the index going forward and watch it move against that benchmark day by day. There is no account minimum, no money changes hands, and no trade is ever placed. Indexes is informational and educational only, never investment advice, and a backtest is a hypothetical illustration of the past, not a prediction.
Pick holdings and set weights
Add the stocks, crypto tokens, or both that express your thesis, then set the weights: market cap, equal weight, or your own custom split. Name the index and it becomes one basket you can study and follow. There is no brokerage account, no spreadsheet, and no order is ever placed.
- Stocks and crypto in one index
- Market-cap, equal, or custom weights
- Name and save the basket
- No brokerage, no order placed
Backtest against real market history
Indexes replays your weighting over the history you choose and reports total return, max drawdown, and risk stats next to a benchmark. These are hypothetical historical performance figures, labeled as such, so you can see how the basket would have behaved, not a prediction of what it will do.
- Real historical market data
- Total return, drawdown, risk stats
- Shown beside a benchmark
- Hypothetical historical performance
Track it daily against your benchmark
Follow your index going forward against the S&P 500, the Nasdaq 100, or BTC. The benchmark line sits under your index line so you always know whether you are ahead or behind over time. Indexes analyzes and tracks only: it holds no money, connects to no broker, and never places a trade.
- Track vs S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, or BTC
- Benchmark line under your index
- Daily gap shown over time
- Analysis only, never a trade

Analysis, not advice
